About Sean

I was born in a Denver suburb, raised by a working class single mother who instilled into me many of the values that I hold dear. I have always had a love of music, picking up piano when I was five and participating in many musical ventures throughout my life. I discovered a love of politics around the age of ten when I became more aware of the world’s vast injustice. I dabbled in a plethora of political philosophies, eventually finding my intellectual home in the values that founded this nation: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I have been heavily invested in national, state, and local politics for almost seven years, working with people of all backgrounds and political persuasions. I find that the more I do this, the more I love America, the more I love Colorado, and the more I love my fellow citizens that make our communities great. I have found that, despite what we are led to believe, we have a lot in common. That’s why I am building my campaign on peace, love, and common welfare.

My name is Sean Vadney, and I’m a Libertarian running for Secretary of State, because I believe in sticking to our values, we can create a state that works much better for all of us. It is no secret that Coloradans across the political spectrum are concerned about the integrity of our elections. We can do better to make every voter feel confident in casting their ballot. As a business owner myself, I have personally experienced the unnecessary red tape and high costs involved with establishing and maintaining a business. We can do better. If you are tired of the status quo, I am asking for your vote. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve you as Colorado’s Secretary of State.
